Fair Play Guidelines

Kepler Client's client-side architecture, anti-cheat safety principles, and multiplayer server policies.

Client-side and visual tools only

Kepler's in-game mod and companion tools are strictly client-side, designed solely to improve visual clarity and quality of life.

  • Only changes what is drawn on your own screen: The mod only adjusts elements rendered on your own screen, such as HUD overlays, keystrokes and brightness-like visual settings.
  • Clean gameplay experience: It contains no mechanisms that alter game mechanics, block interactions, or core server logic.

No combat advantage

Kepler Client tools offer no unfair advantage in player-versus-player (PvP) combat or competitive multiplayer scenarios.

  • No automated inputs: Features such as auto-clickers, aimbots, reach extensions, or automated movement routines are strictly excluded from the client.
  • Player control: All player inputs, including clicking, aiming, and movement, remain entirely under your direct manual control.

Network traffic and server packets

When connecting to multiplayer servers, Kepler strictly conforms to standard Minecraft network communication protocols.

  • Sends no extra data packets to servers: It sends no extra data packets to servers and does not alter standard game network traffic in any way.
  • Does not read other players: It does not read data from other players, expose hidden entities beyond server render bounds, or produce irregular network packet patterns.

Anti-cheat and security principles

Kepler's in-game mod is designed to be low-risk on anti-cheat systems by keeping its scope strictly client-side:

  • 1. Only changes what is drawn on your own screen: The mod only adjusts elements rendered on your own screen, such as HUD overlays and brightness-like visual settings.
  • 2. Sends no extra data packets to servers: It sends no extra data packets to servers and does not alter standard game network traffic.
  • 3. Does not read other players or automate input: It does not read other players' data or automate player inputs such as clicking, aiming, or movement.
  • 4. Client-side Fabric mod with per-tool toggles: It is a client-side Fabric mod that you can switch off per tool or use to fully restore vanilla.

Server rules and player responsibility

Every Minecraft server establishes and enforces its own independent rules regarding client modifications.

  • Rule variations: Server rules differ; some servers may restrict certain HUD elements or visual overlays, while others have more permissive guidelines.
  • No ban guarantees: Kepler does not promise and cannot guarantee that players will never receive a penalty or ban on any server; server administrations retain complete autonomy over rule enforcement.
  • Player responsibility: Checking and respecting the rules and modification policies of each server before joining remains solely the responsibility of the player.

Disabling tools and vanilla state

You maintain complete control over which tools and overlays remain active:

  • Per-tool toggles: Because Kepler is a client-side Fabric mod, you can turn off each tool individually or return completely to a vanilla state at any moment.
  • Version testing notice: The mod has not yet been tested on all supported versions (26.3, 1.21.11, 1.21.4, 1.20.1); until tests are completed, we recommend switching off individual tools or joining strict servers with a vanilla profile.
